The footage shows Tata endorsing an online gaming guru and asking people to join The Telegraph channel, run by Amir Khan. In the past few months, popular Bollywood actresses like Rashmika Mandanna, Katrina Kaif, Kajol Devgn, etc. of popular videos flooded social media. This new scam related to Ratan Tata shows how deep videos can be used to cheat and cheat.

Amir Khan is a fraudster who runs the Telegram channel “@aviator_ultrawin”, according to the India Today fact-checking team. They promised users that they could earn at least 100,000 rupees every day by playing the “Aviator” game. They ask users to register on the ‘Aviator’ website, but the link they provide leads to a gaming and casino gambling website called ‘1win’, which asks users to provide personal information such as mobile numbers and email IDs. This is a common technique used by scammers to obtain information.

The deepfake video
Ratan Tata’s in-depth video was found posted five times on Facebook. This video doesn’t look like a regular ad, but it was found in the meta ad library. The video appears to be an edited version of the video in which Ratan Tata received an honorary award from HEC Paris in June 2015.
